The pioneer subsidiary in the LMCI Group is LM Consultancy (LMCI) which was established in 2003, initially with the objective of enhancing the skills and service delivery standards in Zimbabwe. Within a few months of establishment, LMCI started receiving appointments to carry out work in the region and internationally. This led to the birth of LMCI International which is the headquarters of LMCI Group of Companies. LMCI’ s specific mandate is to service the Botswana market and drive the regional expansion by bringing services closer to clients. To date the LMCI Group has successfully completed a number of assignments on behalf of insurance companies and the business community at large in Botswana, Chad, DRC, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Founded by the late Group CEO Lawrence Mareya and Nyasha Grace Mareya, LMCI grew from a two men company to a business with subsidiary companies in most of the SADC region i.e Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Eswathini.
